“I’ve been to many different locations for my CDL exam during my 20 years of commercial driving. I’ve had several bad experiences with doctors who just don’t seem to care and are not sympathetic to truck drivers lifestyle. They just want to get you in and out of their office and collect their fee. I always tend to have a bad case of white coat syndrome. I have normal blood pressure (around 120/80) except when I’m at the doctor. I felt relaxed right away at Dr. Ogi’s office… but even still, my blood pressure was too high (155/100). Dr. Ogi calmly reassured me that he knows that I’m just a little anxious about the exam and that everything is ok… and after 2 more BP readings that were still too high, he put me in a quiet room and gave me a cold bottle of water to sip on. His clinic music was relaxing and I just sat back with my eyes closed. 20 minutes later, he came in and took my blood pressure again and it was down to 128/86.
I highly recommend Dr. Ogi. He goes out of his way to do what he can get you your Fed Med Card. “

I recently needed to get a DOT Physical and I went to Dr. OGI. I have HBP (Controlled), Type 2 Diabetes (Controlled, non-insulin) Sleep apnea (C-pap Machine). I was able to have my GP provide me with a letter stating that all my conditions were stable and well controlled. I had also just had a A1C Test done, and was able to provide a copy. Sleep compliance report was also obtained. I made an appointment online, and shortly after received an Email wanting me to fill out all of my information, medical conditions Etc. I reported to my appointment and was immediately taken care of and brought to the back. waited about 10 minutes and Dr. Ogi came in. I presented him all my Documentation (which saved a lot of time) and he was able to conduct the physical. I ended up leaving that day with my DOT Med Card. Very simple and well mannered. Will definitely go back next year.

My regular DOT physical location was closed due to COVID-19 so I search the web for a place to go. I found the dotphysicaldoctor.com website and chose to give Dr. Ogi’s office a call after reading the reviews.
It could not have been easier. Called in the morning and they got me in the same day. Dr. Ogi even stayed after his posted hours to get me in.
I filled out some standard DOT paperwork online in the comfort of my own home before my appointment. When I got to the office the Dr. reviewed my CPAP log and gave me a short physical and I was out the door in about 25-minutes with all the required paperwork in hand.
My regular DOT clinic called the other day letting me know that they are open for in-office visits again. I appreciate the call but I will happily drive a few more miles out of the way next year for the level of service and the comfortable atmosphere I experienced at Ogi Chiropractic. Five Stars!!!

I came to you for FED MED recertification on 7/26/2019, which is always anxiety city for me. I am the classic “White Coat” syndrome, concerning taking of my blood pressure. I am very proactive about it, but crossing the threshold of a doctors office, all bets are off. The atmosphere of your office and you put me at ease for the first time in a long time. I didn’t have to sit in a “quiet” room to lower my anxiety. You don’t know how valuable that was to me. I cannot recommend any higher for anyone who suffers my problem to go to him. Very professional and caring, thanks a million.
Dr. Ogi was very caring and professional. He made sure that I was relaxed and comfortable during my physical and didn’t mind going the extra step with some of my extra paperwork I needed, which really was impressive to me. He know’s how to treat a driver like a NAME and not a NUMBER, such as some doctor’s. His bedside manner was great! I will alway’s highly recommend him to other drivers. Thank’s for a pleasant experience!
I have not had to have to have to take a DOT med exam in over 22 years due to the fact that I was a CA State and then a federal employee. I recently retired from federal service and entered the private sector. To say the least a bunch has changed in that time. Last time i took a DOT exam it was can you fog the mirror? Dr. Tom was very helpful and low key. I appreciate the time he took with me to make me comfortable with the exam. I highly recommend him.

Hello, writing you because like your reviewer had said, I have “White Coat” also. I live in Delafield and just past August got my renewed Fed Med card. So I am fine for right now. My problem is that my Practical Nurse is moving away. She used to let me go to a quite room with my blood pressure machine that she checked and let me take my pressure untill it dropped. I am on BP medicine and my typical reading at home is anywhere from 116/68 or 125/74. Cross that Doctors door threshold and you can forget about those readings. If I came to you is that a possibility of bringing in my machine and having a quiet room

Yes, as long as we can verify its accuracy, you can bring in your own machine. It would also go a long way to bring a letter from your healthcare provider treating your high blood pressure vouching for your medication compliance and history of “white coat syndrome.”
Just completed my DOT exam with Dr. Ogi, Well for one, I get white coat syndrome when going to ANY doctor, Dr. Ogi took that out of me better than any other doctor I have ever seen, very good with the physical, was able to work me in on short notice, plenty of parking, friendly, and worked with me to lower my blood pressure, letting me sit for 15 minutes and relax before taking it again. I would recommend him to anyone. Very skilled and caring to the other patients that came in as well.
