Virginia Medical Card Requirements
CDL Holders (non-excepted):
- You no longer need to carry a physical medical card with you, and you no longer have to go through the hassle of updating it with Virginia DMV.
- When your DOT medical exam is completed, the examining office is required to electronically transmit your results to FMCSA’s National Registry database.
